How to Vote in the Aspen Peaks School Board Election

Date of General Election: November 4, 2025

Seat: Aspen Peaks School District Board of Education, Seat 1

The school board elections for the Aspen Peaks School District are governed by the Utah County Clerk’s Office and consist of two important parts — the Primary Election and the General Election.

🗳️ Understanding the Election Process

Primary Election

Primary elections are held only if more than two candidates file for the same seat. Because three candidates filed for Seat 1, a primary election was held on August 12, 2025. The top two candidates from the primary advance to the general election.

General Election

The General Election is held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November. For 2025, that date is November 4. The two top candidates from the primary will appear on the ballot for voters to decide the final outcome.

🗓️ Important Dates & Deadlines

• October 14, 2025: Mail-in ballots begin arriving for active registered voters.
• October 24, 2025 (5:00 PM): Deadline to register to vote or update your address.
• October 28, 2025 (5:00 PM): Last day to request a mail-in ballot.
• November 4, 2025: General Election Day — vote in person or return your mail ballot.

If you are an active registered voter, you will automatically receive your ballot by mail.

• 🖊️ Not registered? Register or update your voter information online at vote.utahcounty.gov.
• ⚠️ All voter registration and address updates must be completed by October 24, 2025 at 5 PM.
• 🗳️ Missed the deadline? You can still register and vote on Election Day at a Utah County Vote Center.

📬 Mail-In Ballots

Mail-in ballots will begin arriving on October 14, 2025 for all active registered voters. If you have recently moved or changed your name, update your registration as soon as possible to ensure you receive your ballot on time.

• Last day to update voter info: October 24, 2025 (5 PM)
• Last day to request a mail ballot: October 28, 2025 (5 PM)
• Mail ballots must be postmarked no later than November 3, 2025.
