From Helping as a Teen to Supporting as a Parent
When I was a senior in high school, I had the opportunity to help deliver door fliers for a school board candidate. To be completely honest, I didn’t exactly know what the school board was or much about the candidate I was helping. What I did know is that it was important to help get the word out about different candidates running.
Supporting Diane Knight: A Leader I Know and Trust
The last two nights, I’ve had the opportunity to go out in the community with three of my kids to once again drop off door fliers for school board. The difference this time is that I know the candidate I am campaigning for—and I 100% support her.
Diane knows our schools, she knows the families, and she understands the unique challenges our rapidly growing area faces. From overcrowded classrooms to changing demographics and challenges I don’t even fully understand, Diane is aware of them and actively looking for ways to improve the district for our children.
A Trusted Educator and Advocate
Two of my children have had the privilege of having Mrs. Knight as their kindergarten teacher. I’ve also worked with her professionally as an intervention aide in the schools. I’ve seen firsthand that she’s willing to work with parents and families to put the needs of our children—and their education—first.
Diane Knight for School Board. She’s the leader our schools need.
